R&D Engineer (Native Arabic Speaker)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced R&D Engineer for our growing AI Research Team. The ideal candidate will be a native Arabic speaker with advanced proficiency in English and strong skills in Python programming, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Large Language Models (LLM) and reside in Türkiye. Sestek’s AI-powered solutions are built by a team of 100+ engineers working on text-to-speech, speech recognition, natural language processing, and voice biometrics technologies. Recently we have been acquired by Unifonic, a leading Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS) provider. We are now an international organization of 500+ young people.

What we expect :

• Collaborating with our diverse team spanning various disciplines such as text-to-speech, speech recognition, natural language processing (NLP), and voice biometrics, to innovate and enhance our AI-powered solutions.
• Conducting advanced research in AI technologies, particularly in the domains of NLP and voice processing, to drive the development of cutting-edge features and capabilities that elevate the performance and user experience of our Conversational Solutions.
• Designing and implementing scalable algorithms and models to address complex challenges in speech and language processing, ensuring robustness, accuracy, and efficiency in real-world applications.
• Contributing to the integration of our solutions within the Unifonic ecosystem, leveraging synergies with their leading Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS) offerings to deliver comprehensive and impactful solutions to our customers.
• Collaborating closely with product management, software development, and quality assurance teams to translate research findings and technical innovations into practical features and enhancements that meet customer needs and market demands.

Who we are looking for :

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electronics engineering, or a related field.
• Master’s degree would be an asset.
• Native Arabic speaker who resides in Türkiye with advanced proficiency in English and Turkish language skills would be an asset.
• Strong command of Python programming and software development principles.
• Proficiency in Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and algorithms.
• Experience working with Large Language Models (LLM) like GPT.
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
